Vodacom Tanzania Rolls Out Supa Network Campaign

Vodacom Tanzania has rolled out a campaign, Supa Network, to raise awareness of the strength and capacity of its network.

The network operator claims that it has the strongest network in Tanzania with an unmatched 4G download speed of up to 27Mbps, which is twice as fast as the next competitor.
It added that it had achieved 90% of the population coverage in Tanzania over the years, reaching rural and urban areas with its data, voice and mobile money services.

Supa Network has been launched to advertise the telco’s ongoing investment in infrastructure, as well as the expansion and upgrade of no less than ten new data sites daily.

The Managing Director of Vodacom Tanzania Plc, Hisham Hendi, said that Vodacom Tanzania’s commitment to connecting Tanzania on a global scale is evident through the mobile operator’s expansion strategies and investments.

He added that Vodacom had invested over $74mil in the expansion of its 4G coverage in the country’s major cities in an effort to transform the lives of Tanzanian citizens through technology.

Nguvu Kamando, Vodacom Tanzania’s Head of Network and Performance department said that the investment in the company’s data infrastructure was paying off generously.
